The business is now one of the largest privately owned providers of domiciliary care in the area. It currently holds a “Good” CQC rating and continually works to ensure I Care remains at that standard.
Sarah provides strong leadership, in an experienced team of Care Supervisors, Care Co Ordinator’s, Medication Officers, Senior Carers and Carers. Collectively holding many years experience in the care sector and within I Care itself. All the team have many qualification in care and are continually upskilling with relevant training.
The team runs from their new premises on Greens Road in Dereham, a base for office work, staff training and open to the general public or clients of I Care. Please contact us if you require a private space and we can be available.
I Care Service was founded in Dereham itself in 1992 and has remained working in the Dereham area since. We have good connections within the local community that can provide a more rounded package of care for our clients. We are here and approachable any day anytime for our colleagues, clients and families.
We truly care for our clients and our staff alike. We form good working relationships with our clients, their families and any other individuals important to our clients. In the I Care family we support our staff as much as we can, so that they can remain happy in their work and provide the best care to our clients
With the challenges the care industry faces, we endeavor to maintain a high quality standard of care. From the individual care with the carers, to the management team. We work as hard as we can to ensure that I Care remains a service that you would recommend to others.
Our Objectives:
To ensure that there is an initial and ongoing assessment of clients’ needs. The care plans are created with the full involvement of the individuals and their relatives. Where appropriate, I Care will liaise with advocates for the clients who have been assessed as lacking Mental Health Capacity (MHCA)
I Care’s clients are encouraged where ever possible, to choose the individual staff they wish to be involved in their care.
I Care clients are also encouraged to make their own choice of time and duration of their visits wherever possible. Where changes are needed, we will do our best to do this as quick as we can. We are responsive to clients changing needs and accommodate increases and decreases in care quickly.
I Care clients are allocated their own Senior Care Practitioner, who works closely alongside Sarah in the office. They will get to know you well, and look at your goals and objectives. The SCP will co ordinate the carers and services around you to achieve these goals, whatever they may be.
I Care supports clients’ rights, both as a philosophy and as a matter of policy. This includes:
