We are passionate about recruiting caring individuals from our local community for our team of domiciliary care givers. But we have also successfully recruited internationally in 2022 and pride ourselves in being an Equality & Diversity Champion Employer, celebrating those from all walks of life.
We carry out all pre employment checks to ensure our individuals are of a suitable nature to work in care. We like our interviews to take place with a client as well so you can express your needs to the staff and check them out.
All our staff then have in house training so we can ensure they will be working with our policies and ways of working. They are then observed in the field in their shadowing period, where they will only be allowed on their own when assessed as competent.
All our staff are then monitored routinely throughout the year in spot checks and working with their seniors. We host routine senior and staff meetings to make sure we are all on the same page, sharing themes and learning.
We also have routine staff supervisions and appraisals, where individuals can assess their working standard and what they would like to do to achieve more. They can also approach us anytime with their concerns, which builds a strong working relationship of trust.
