I Care Service are looking to recruit enthusiastic caring individuals to join a special team. We pride ourselves on truly caring for our clients, providing person centred care specific to their individual needs. Although there is a vast need for carers in the industry, we would like you to join us for the following reasons.
Although experienced staff are preferred, we also welcome individuals new to care who are looking for a career.
On induction all staff complete mandatory units on Safeguarding, Mental Capacity, Infection Control, Moving & Handling, Medication Administration & the fundamental standards of care.
If staff do not hold a current NVQ in Health & Social Care then they will be required to undertake the Care Certificate. Although it can be challenging, all staff are supported in weekly tutorials and it encourages everybody to be working at a higher level of care from the onset.
All induction training and shadowing shifts are fully paid. Only when staff are feeling competent, and have had full assessments on their capabilities are they then allowed to work independently.
Although when lone working, there is full access to management via the on call phone.
Our client base covers a 10 mile radius of Dereham, so it is vital you have access to their own vehicle. Your rotas will be geographically grouped as much as possible to minimise travel.
We also encourage continuity for both our staff and our clients, so once settled you will be allocated an individual round that is adhered to as far as reasonably practical. Our clients vary in their needs, from 19 year olds to the very elderly, attending to those with parkinson’s, end of life care, dementia, cerebral palsy & old age etc
Your duties will be Personal Care, Medication Administration, Food & Fluid Preparation, Social Support, Domestic Duties & going above and beyond for the clients.
We also hold a sponsorship license and recruit internationally. These spaces are limited and advertised normally on Indeed. Please don’t contact us outside of these times are we will not have any positions available. We support our international recruits holistically as well as professionally and everyone is welcomed.
We also support apprentices from the age of 16years, those new to the industry or those who have worked in care for a while.
We do have full and part time positions available, with particular availability on weekends. If your availability doesn’t fit exactly into our shifts then just ask, because it may something we can accommodate.

We have good connections within the local community that can provide a more rounded package of care for our clients.
